Gabriela N. Lee, DDS, a native New Yorker, received her BA in Biology and Psychology from Barnard College, her MS in Occupational Therapy from Columbia, and her DDS from Columbia University, School of Dental and Oral Surgery. She did her General Practice Residency in Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Lee is a member of dentistry’s honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the prestigious American College of Dentists, New York Academy of Dentistry, Pierre Fauchard Society, American Dental Association, New York State Dental Society and New York County Dental Society.
Dr. Lee taught preclinical and clinical dentistry for several years and served on the admission committee for Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery as well as on the Dean’s Advisory Committee. She has been a facilitator in the Dental Ethics program for over 10 years.
Dr. Lee served as President of the New York Academy of Dentistry in 2019-2020. And under the auspices of the New York Academy of Dentistry’s humanitarian outreach program, World of Smiles, she has participated in two dental missions to the Dominican Republic.
She has been active in the New York County Dental Society serving on various committees such as District Claims and presently sits on the Board.
Dr. Lee is an avid reader, city gardener, jewelry maker and most importantly, a devoted mother.
